I) 1:32nd Thoroughbred Grand Prix (TGP)

J) 1:32nd Goodwood Revival Series - where the prototype raced prior and during 1965

Specification:

F1 cars from the period 1966 – 1981.

Chassis:

If not original, must be a commercially available plastic/resin or metal chassis (Penelope Pitlane ONLY). If any doubt exists please discuss with club officials before purchasing.

Bodywork:

In plastic (or similar) to scale appearance (no lexan or vacforms).

Motor:

Free choice (although the committee reserve the right to ban any motor considered ‘un-sporting’ and not within the spirit of the club). Orientation is free choice (anglewinder, sidewinder, in-line). However it is worth keeping in mind that at some point these cars may be entered into a CSCRA competition where in-line motor orientation tends to be mandatory.

Tyres:

Free choice and are of rubber or silicone compounds (NO SPONGE). Tyres can be glued, trued and oil treated if desired.

Allowable modifications:

This is an OPEN class and by its nature encourages the use of modified R-T-R cars, motorized kits, etc. If any doubt exists please discuss with club officials before purchasing.

Forbidden items:

Anything which was not mentioned in the allowable modifications.

Specification:

Any model where the prototype raced prior and during 1965. Maximum tyre tread width set at 9mm. The class is divided into 3 sub classes which race on a rotational basis.

J)i. GP and single seaters up to and including 1965. J)ii. Sports and GT cars up to and including 1965.

J)iii. Saloon Cars up to and including 1965.

Chassis:

If not original, must be a commercially available plastic/resin or metal chassis (excluding BSCRA style). If any doubt exists please discuss with club officials before purchasing. Please note that for those cases in J)i. where the car is a ‘streamliner’ or has additional ‘panniers’ (eg. Lancia-Ferrari D50), as per the national CSCRA rules, the only chassis allowed is one which would have fitted under the original non-extended car.

K) 1:32nd Touring Cars

Specification:

Any model Touring Car which has ran in one of the following series since 1995 – BTCC, DTM, NASCAR, V8 Supercars, WTCC, ETCC, national series which are similar to BTCC (i.e no mid-engined coupes).Maximum tyre width of 10mm.

Chassis:

Must either be the original, or a commercially available plastic/resin substitute. Metal chassis (Penelope Pitlane and MRRC ONLY) are allowed on a trial basis at the time of writing.

Bodywork:

In plastic (or similar) to scale appearance (no lexan or vacforms).

Motor:

Free choice (although the committee reserve the right to ban any motor considered ‘un-sporting’ and not within the spirit of the club). Orientation is free choice (anglewinder, sidewinder, in-line).

Free choice, so long as all four wheels are covered by the bodywork (where appropriate to the prototype) and are of rubber or silicone compounds (NO SPONGE). Tyres can be glued, trued and oil treated if desired.

Any GT sportscar appearing on authorised list (Appendix B).

Any sports prototype or LMP where the prototype raced after 1981.
